Designed to adapt to its sloped terrain with minimal earthwork, the school integrates sustainable construction methods, including IBS precast columns, hollow slabs, and AAC block walls for structural efficiency.
The façade, composed of concrete vent blocks, promotes cross-ventilation while adding a distinct architectural identity. At its core, a landscaped central courtyard enhances natural airflow, daylighting, and communal interaction, fostering a conducive learning environment.

RESEARCH HUB EXTENSION

The proposed Postgraduate Research Hub extends the UM Education Faculty, embodying a contemporary architectural language. This three-story structure, complemented by a two-level basement car park, features a dynamic façade of grooves, fins, and expanded metal screens, creating a visually engaging interplay of light and shadow.
A green roof on the first floor integrates sustainability, while a fully glazed conference room and multipurpose hall on the top floor offer panoramic views and ample natural light. The hub also accommodates state-of-the-art labs, conference rooms, offices, and essential amenities, fostering an innovative and collaborative research environment.

Ground-floor facilities and commercial spaces enhance accessibility and foot traffic, while podium-level parking reduces earthwork and environmental impact.

Pusat Seni Genius is a purpose-built arts training center designed to cultivate young talent, strategically positioned on Jalan Hose near Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka. The layout emphasizes efficient circulation, strategic zoning, and soundproofing, ensuring privacy and an optimal learning environment. Architecturally, the design draws inspiration from wooden musical instruments, featuring wave-like wooden fins that symbolize sound waves while serving as rain and sun protection. Two distinct design options have been proposed, each offering unique aesthetic and functional variations to best support the center’s artistic and educational vision.

DARUL ILMI MAIWP
The proposed Islamic study center aligns with Islamic principles through its Qibla-oriented layout, spacious prayer hall, and façade adorned with geometric motifs for privacy and identity. The design optimizes natural ventilation, sunlight control, and scenic views, incorporating deep balconies and Malay lattice windows. Residential units are positioned for privacy, while communal spaces are placed at lower levels. Efficient circulation ensures seamless movement, balancing functionality with a serene living environment.

UM DATARAN
The proposal to integrate Dewan Tunku Chanselor with Bangunan Chanselory, the Dataran and the spaces in between by addressing the chaotic traffic flow and level differences, promote a more conducive pedestrian walkways, provide additional parking and quality F&B facilities, and enhance the drop off areas of each building and give an overall facelift. A 3-storey parking podium that offers 720 new parking bays was proposed to connect the levels with a reconfigured egress and ingress, a green roof that features premium F&B outlet and an upgraded piazza. Proper walkway for pedestrians is also demarcated, enhanced the drop off areas of each building and give an overall facelift.
